Please check in with a March Marshal upon your arrival at MLK Academy 3501 Martin Luther King Dr, San Antonio, TX 78220 by 8 am the March begins promptly at 10am.Parking is available at St. Philip’s College 1801 Martin Luther King Dr (Lot 22), San Antonio, TX 78203 and the Freeman Coliseum 3201 E Houston St (Lot 1), San Antonio, TX 78219 for transportation to the start of march from 8 and 9:45 am and from Pittman-Sullivan Park from 12 to 3:30 pm. Hydration is a must regardless of the weather. This is Texas so dress accordingly. I would recommend members should start hydrating. Water will be provided along the route. The route is approximately 5k average speed no more than 5 mph. No pets allowed unless it’s a service pet with the appropriate documentations. The march will conclude at Pittman-Sullivan Park, and we will have an open house for the community please check with (the social committee) if you want to donate beverage items (ice, soda, and water) sign up/volunteer on the SAAC website. In addition to the open house, we will have a Good Health Wins tent set-up adjacent to the Kastle.
